Starting this Substack feels a little like starting my business felt. Exciting, intimidating, overwhelming, and terrifying. But the thing is, I’ve been freelancing since 2006, so I’ve seen and heard a lot. I’ve been through recessions, pandemics, times where I couldn’t keep up with work and times where there was nothing coming in.

And I still love it.

Usually.

I’ve learned a ton and I’m willing to be your cautionary tale. I’ll share my good times, my bad times and my “hide under the quilt for a week” times. Not only that, but I’m here to cheer you on, too. Because I know you can do this if you’re willing to work hard.
