Have you been in a position where clients didn’t pay you? Without sharing specific details (so we don’t get sued), what happened? What did you do? What did you learn from the experience?
I live in America and submitted to a mag in the UK and they published without accepting or paying. I only found out because they had the gall to send a contributor copy, likely by accident. I emailed repeatedly. They never responded. That's a shock
