I think this is a really helpful way of thinking about “urgency” or lack thereof. It’s definitely a word I try to be careful about using with work but it gets the best of us all! Thanks for the reminder that one person’s urgent is another person’s plenty of time and that it’s ok to say that.

Brilliant advice as ever Heidi. As I've got older I've been more confident to push back on fake urgency, as you say, poor planning on the client's part doesn't constitute an emergency on yours.
