I think this is a really helpful way of thinking about “urgency” or lack thereof. It’s definitely a word I try to be careful about using with work but it gets the best of us all! Thanks for the reminder that one person’s urgent is another person’s plenty of time and that it’s ok to say that.
Yes! It's like when someone says they'll have something to me "shortly," which can mean everything from "the next few minutes" to "sometime this month" based on my experience. Often clients want something right away so it can sit on their desk and they can get to it when they get around to it.
